If someone from online wants to meet in person:
- Tell a safe adult first.
- Don't go alone.
- Meet somewhere public.
- Use your own ride.
These steps make it easier to leave. They don't prove the person is who they say they are, and they don't make anything your fault.
If they push you to keep it secret, come alone, or change the place at the last minute, you can say "I've changed my mind." and not go.
