A photo, name, age, school, or mutual friend is something someone shows you. It isn't proof.
Things worth noticing:
- Their story keeps changing, or they avoid simple questions while pushing for more.
- Their story doesn't add up.
- Things get close very fast.
- They ask for secrecy, photos, money, or to switch apps.
Checking means slowing down and asking a safe adult what they think. It doesn't mean investigating them or meeting up to find out.
