When Someone Keeps Pushing

What Belongs to You

Iris, your guide
Iris says: “A boundary does not make you rude.”

What Belongs to You

A boundary is about what you will and won't take part in. It isn't about controlling someone else.

Some things that belong to you:

  • your body and your space
  • your time and attention
  • your private information and photos
  • your phone, accounts, money and belongings
  • who you talk to and where you go
  • whether a conversation keeps going

A boundary is still real if someone doesn't like it. You don't have to explain it until they agree.
