When Asking Becomes Pressure
Asking once is normal. One follow-up question isn't automatically a problem.
Pressure is when someone keeps working on your answer after you've given it. It can sound like:
- asking until you're worn out
- "You have to decide right now."
- "After everything I did for you…"
- "It's not a big deal. Everyone does it."
- "If you cared, you would."
Pressure can be quiet, joking or sweet. It doesn't have to be loud to count.
