The same skills work online.
- A profile can show you something. It can't prove who someone is.
- Urgency and secrecy are a signal to slow down and check.
- If someone threatens to share something: stop replying, don't pay, don't send more, tell a safe person.
Optional: Pick one thing you'd like to check on your own accounts later — like passwords, two-step sign-in, or who can see your location.
If someone is controlling or threatening, changing settings can sometimes increase risk. You don't have to announce the change or handle it alone. Bring in a safe adult or professional support first.
