Scams can look like prizes, jobs, modeling offers, romance, a friend "in trouble," or a message saying your account has a problem.
Urgency + secrecy + payment or personal information = slow down.
This isn't a test that proves something is a scam. A scam might only show one or two of these, and real things can be urgent sometimes. It just means: slow down and check.
What to do: don't pay or share codes, check with a safe adult, and contact the person or company a different way than the message gave you.
Getting tricked doesn't make you stupid. You can still tell someone.
