Care

Getting through something hard can affect your body, your mind, your sleep and your schoolwork. Care means getting support for any of that.

Care can come from:

  • a doctor, nurse or clinic, if you were hurt or might need a check-up
  • a counselor or therapist, for the feelings that stay
  • a school counselor, if school is getting harder
  • someone who knows legal options, if you want to understand them

You can ask for care even if you're not sure you need it. You don't have to decide everything at once.
