The Slow Turn
Some patterns start small and grow. Things you might notice changing over time:
- Size — requests get bigger.
- How often — rare becomes regular.
- Speed — less time to decide.
- Secrecy — more "don't tell anyone."
- The cost of no — saying no brings more anger, guilt or pressure.
If each step is small, each step can be explained. Look at the direction, not just the step.
A direction is information. It isn't a prediction of what will happen.
